FRAME SPECIFICATIONSThe frame components are constructed of corrosion resistant, high strength, light weight, anodized 6061T – T6 structural grade aluminum extrusions. Aluminum provides the best properties to create a lightweight, strong, and portable structure. The structural frame extrusions are a square beam design which is assembled to create a series of identical frame sections connected together with purlins and cables. These beams have integrated inner and outer channels called keder tracks which are designed to accommodate and secure the exterior fabric shell and as well as optional interior liner panels. The extrusions are also designed to allow for easy attachment of lighting, rigging and other accessories without drilling or welding. Modular pre-engineered design allows for frame components to be exchanged within or between like structures. Frame sections are assembled on the ground then attached to base plates utilizing a hinge pin design, allowing the sections to be safely and easily tilted up into position. All Structural Fasteners are galvanized A35 or ASTM A193 Grade B7. Other non structural attachments and fasteners are of standard commercial quality and finish. ENGINEERING CALCULATIONSThe Celina engineering team performs internal wind and snow calculations to recommend which structure will suit your specific project requirements. Structure products are designed & engineered using a variety of software programs such as AutoCAD, MPanel, Easy Cut, and more. All drawings, project management, and customizations are done in house. While permit functions are the responsibility and at the expense of the end user, Celina can assist, on your behalf, with any local agencies to answer questions on local code compliance, provide proper certifications, or site specific engineered drawings, as required. Celina Structures are designed and engineered to withstand constant winds of 70 mph and gusts of 90 mph or higher with a utility load of 2 psf per the International Building Code (IBC Code). Celina Structures can also be engineered for increased wind and snow loading in extreme conditions, and do not require additional welding or drilling into the frame. |
FABRIC SPECIFICATIONSThe roof and sidewall fabric panels are constructed with reinforced coated PVC material that is UV, mold, and mildew resistant. This fabric meets all NFPA 701 standards and requirements for flame resistance (we will also add the European flame spec here). The panels are attached to the structure by feeding the keder edge of the fabric into the the keder track which is integrated into the extruded aluminum frame. This system creates a weather tight seal to prevent rain and wind intrusion. The standard structure roof color is white; however an array of other colors is available by special order. Blockout fabric is standard for all Celina Structures. Translucent panels, custom digitally printed panels, custom sidewalls, ECU (Environment Control Unit) duct openings, or any other special product request can be manufactured at our facility in Celina, Ohio. The keder track design allows for installation and removal of the fabric panels to be performed and accomplished with all personnel safely at ground level. The fabric panels become integral with the frame during installation which makes the fabric easier to manage and prevents unexpected wind gusts from catching the fabric and causing it to sail out of control and away from the frame. The fabric panels are tensioned and secured to the frame with an elastic bungee cord system. All fabric panels and optional inner liner fabric panels can be installed, replaced, or removed individually without dismantling the structure. This integrated keder style system saves hours of labor verses other modular tent systems. FOUNDATION REQUIREMENTS Celina Structures are designed and engineered for installation on concrete, asphalt, dirt, grass or gravel. Site preparation is minimal, however, for best results we recommend a smooth, flat surface with no more than a 5% variation in grade. One set of anchors are included appropriate to site surface conditions. Foundations are not necessary, but optional. Any Celina pre-engineered fabric structure can be installed with no foundation. However, foundations are recommended for certain applications and for long term installations. Our engineering department can assist you with any site questions or specific applications.
